WHIPPING her hair back and forth would be easy for Debbie Dingle with her long dark tresses.

Energetic movements and hip swaying are the norm for dance style Zumba, which the 23-year-old teaches weekly.

Catch her at the Boyne Tannum Community Centre at 7pm on Tuesdays or at Calliope RSL on Wednesdays at 7pm.

Outside of dancing Debbie runs after her three children, who are all under four-years-old.

Debbie has lived in Gladstone for more than a year, moving here from the Sunshine Coast for her husband's work as a concreter.

Debbie said she enjoyed it here.

"In all honesty, I have more friends here than I ever did at home," she said.

"We're all here for the same reasons."
