Youtube and TV star Stevie Ryan dead aged 33

A COMEDIAN and actress who rose to fame when Hollywood bosses were wowed by her viral videos has died at 33 from a suspected suicide.

Stevie Ryan left Victorville in California to pursue a career in Hollywood aged just 19, The Sun reports.

She wrote, filmed, edited and acted in her own videos that she posted to social media and the clips quickly went viral - with some reaching views in the millions.

The success of characters like Little Loca and Sceney Sceneable, as well as her impressions of celebs like Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Amy Winehouse, soon attracted the attention of producers across the US.

As a result she was given her own comedy sketch TV series on VH1 called Stevie TV.

The Los Angeles Coroner's office confirmed she died on July 1.

The day before she died, she tweeted her grief at the loss if her grandfather, who she called Pa.

She wrote: "The man of my dreams will now only be in my dreams. I'll miss you every day, forever. I love you my Pa."

Fans mourned the star's death online, with one writing: "You will never ever be forgotten Stevie. I hope you are in your Grandpa's arms right now."

Her comedy mainly parodied YouTube stars and mocked celebs who are caught up in sex tape scandals.

In an interview with Culture Brats, she spoke of how she was shocked by the level of hate she encountered when she posted her videos.

She said: "I put it on YouTube and before I knew it, there were people leaving me comments like, 'You're ugly and stupid and dumb!' I didn't realise what the internet was yet, that it was just full of hate."
