YOUR SAY: Residents excited over new burger lounge

FOODIES in Gladstone can't wait to dig in to a gourmet burger at The Dock - a new burger lounge that will see a revamp of Gelaspresso.

This week we shared the news in the paper and online with a sneak peak in to what it's going to be like.

Today owners Heidi and Jeremy Hastings will launch their Facebook page, The Dock at East Shores, and membership forms will be available tonight.

A Facebook post on The Observer's site reached 13,770 people, after it was liked almost 100 times and shared 14 times.

Most comments were from people who were tagging their friends to share the news.

Hayden Holley said, "Best place to eat in Queensland".

While others were contemplating what was going to be on the menu.

"Oooooo.....they better still serve ice cream!" Jessica Dearness wrote.

"As long as they have sweet potato fries," Nicole Long said.

Gelaspresso updated its followers last night on Facebook, saying construction has started.

Membership forms will be available once their new Facebook page is launched.

To become a member, like The Dock at East Shores, and complete the form, take a photo or scan it and send it to thedock@communitypractitioners.com.au or message the Facebook page.
