YOUR SAY: Me time is important for busy mums
GLADSTONE mums say "me" time is essential when they're juggling work with their children's school and sports.
It's something that many women take seriously, and even for those who don't have their own children, they can understand why it's important.
While experts say it's essential for mothers, our local ladies believe it's almost impossible to get time alone when you're a mum.
We asked three people, a teenager and two mums how important they think me time is for mums.
Nineteen year old Jordanna Ghee said she thinks parenting would be "full on and stressful".
Mother of four, Melissa Ghee said she struggled to find time to herself.
"When i do get it i like to relax and enjoy the downtime of not having to run around and be here and there and try to be at three different places at the same time," she said.
