Your say: Best snacks for a long road trip

IF you have a long road trip planned and need to stock up on snacks, beef jerky and Minties seem to be the most popular on-road food.

We've asked our Facebook friends what their go-to snack was on a road trip, and while there were some answers involving healthy food, sugar seemed to be key.

Mandy Kruger liked Fantales, Minties, "but any lollies really".

Wendy Roscoe preferred to head down the healthy road, packing freeze dried fruit, dried fruit and nuts, and water, with a break along the way to pick up a coffee.
