Calliope Community Garden Club will be having an 'everything you need to know about worm-farming' talk at 11 am on Wednesday, June 22, it's free. It will be at the Calliope Garden Club House (in the Park), in Archer St, Calliope. Club is open from 9am-2pm approx. All are welcome!
Partners of Veterans lunch
Every month there is a "Partners of Veterans Luncheon" held in Gladstone. The objective is a get together for social outlet and mutual support. The next one will be at the Black Duck Restaurant (the old Table on Flinders restaurant) on Wednesday, June 22 at 12noon. Contact Bev on 0407644178 so seats can be booked.

Friends of Bindaree Wednesday sale day
It's sale day with the Friends of Bindaree every Wednesday, from 7.30am-11.30am at Beacon St, Boyne Island. For information please phone AndreHumnpw or Betty on 49738156. Relay for Life cent sale
A gold coin donation will get you a long way at the QantasLink Gladstone Relay for Life cent sale. It includes afternoon tea, and there are heaps of prizes to be won. It will be held at the Gladstone Bowls Club on Saturday, June 25. Doors open at 11am and the draws start at 1pm. For bookings call Kate 49734600.
