Photos: Youngsters ‘breaking it down’ at eisteddfod

LAURA Peever knows how to work a beat.

She was one of four girls who took to the stage in the 11 to 12-year-old section of hip-hop dancing at the Gladstone Eisteddfod yesterday.

Our photographer captured this impressive moment when she perfectly executed a flip on stage in front of a crowd.

With impressive jumps and plenty of kids 'breaking it down', hip hop was a crowd pleaser.

The annual 45th eisteddfod started on September 3 and finishes today.

See pages 12-14 of the Daily Mercury for more pics and don't miss our special eisteddfod publication on October 5.
