Level 10 star Eryn Parker will lead the charge for state representative hopefuls with Ainsley Graham (level nine) and Lilly Gibson (level seven) also selected to showcase their outstanding skill and talent.

Parker showed why she will be in good contention for state selection, easily outscoring her competitors.

As expected, Parker dominated in the Level 10 Open to finish first with a score of 48.45 ahead of Bundy's Paige Hogan and Elli Melrose of Yeppoon.

Gibson joined Parker with first place billing in the Level Seven Open in which she secured a score of 39.5 in front of

Bundaberg pair, Ashleigh Berthelsen and Sophie Oprin.

Level Eight Open pair Chloe Martin (second with 41.75 points) and Imogen Beshaw (third) did themselves proud while Boyne Island Revolution GymSports' Grace Penhaligon finished a place behind in fourth.

Gladstone Gymnastics Club administrator Amy Dew was impressed by how the weekend went for the gymnasts who hit the floor running in the first competition of the year.

"The sportsmanship displayed across all was to be commended and it was inspiring to see a strong standard of skill and routines from all gymnasts and growth of numbers of our higher level competitors," she said.

"Overall the event was a great first competition to kick off the competition season."
