6-year-old airlifted after near drowning at Agnes Water

A 6-year-old Bundaberg girl was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition by RACQ CareFlight Rescue Saturday afternoon after a near drowning at 1770.
The girl was treated at the scene before the Bundaberg RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked at about 3.30pm to fly the girl to hospital.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the girl's family rushed her to the fire station where they met paramedics.
A trauma team was on standby to meet the girl on arrival at the Bundaberg Hospital.
The girl's current condition remains satisfactory.

A YOUNG girl was airlifted to hospital by RACQ CareFlight Rescue yesterday afternoon after a near drowning at Seventeen Seventy, Agnes Water.
The Bundaberg RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked at about 3.30pm.
The child was flown to Bundaberg Base Hospital.
