Creative minds make for a fun workplace
AT noon on Fridays, the creative minds at Elevate Media knock off work.
The team of four tries to have a good work-life balance with an early weekend start, every weekend.
Owner of the marketing agency of four years, Karina Brindley said it was a fun and creative workplace.
"We do lots of different stuff with creative meetings with everyone involved, a lot of networking and fun events," she said.
"Clients get excited by our ideas. Rather than just having an idea for yourself, you make someone else excited about them and their business."
Mrs Brindley said the two creative members of her team in the above photo were Angie Brutton and Jaclyn Kemp.
"Angie, the beautiful blonde, is an event planner and can organise somebody like nobody's business," she said.
"Jaclyn worked on glossy mags in Sydney then moved up here with her partner and is an awesome designer."
She said one of her hardest campaigns was making business insurance exciting.
"We made a fun character call Eugene who was the last person you would want choosing your business insurance," she said.
"He has a diamond-studded table and plays Angry Birds instead of reading about insurance."
