World War 2 Digger busts teenage thieves

A 93-YEAR-OLD Digger threatened to use a baseball bat to fight off two gutless teens who tried to rob his home.

John Moyle sent the young thieves running when he caught them pushing a wheelbarrow with his fishing reels, crossbows and arrows at his house early yesterday.

"I can't repeat what I said as it was rude," he said. "But I did top it off saying I would blow their brains out."

The feisty charity volunteer busted the teens in his junk yard at his rental house, in Wagaman.

Mr Moyle said the balcony security light on his troppo home, fully equipped with "traps" and bells on the stairs to deter invaders, turned on at 3.08am.
