Work gives Tasmin her own style and modelling dreams
TASMIN Brown's love of fashion has been fuelled by working at women's clothing store 3 Style Clothing on Goondoon St for the past six months.
The 16-year-old Toolooa SHS student has been making the most of the school holidays and enjoying the opportunity to work more shifts at the Gladstone store.
"I love fashion," she said.
Working as a casual employee at 3 Style Clothing has influenced the teen's sense of style - she is partial to bright colours - and given her confidence, in terms of customer service.
"I like mixing it up," she said of her style.
After school, Miss Brown hopes to continue working in fashion and gain experience in modelling.
For now, the cheerful youngster models clothes on occasion for the 3 Style Clothing Facebook page.
Apart from surrounding herself in gorgeous garments, Miss Brown, who is the oldest of six siblings, said she was able to spend quality time with her family for the festive period.
She returned to work this week, after spending time at a fishing shack in the region's south with her extended family.
Like most youth her age, Miss Brown also enjoys spending time with her friends and hitting the beach whenever she can.
