Woman with suspected fractured leg after moped crash

UPDATE: A 53-year-old woman has been taken to hospital after she fell from a moped and suffered a suspected fractured leg at Agnes Water this afternoon.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics were called to the scene on Springs Road at 3.10pm and treated a woman who was suffering a significant leg injury.

“A female patient was transported to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition following a moped crash,” the spokeswoman said.

“She will be treated at the hospital for a significant leg injury.”

A Queensland Police Media spokesman said Agnes Water police attended the incident.

INITIAL REPORT: A WOMAN in her 50s has injured her leg following a crash on a moped at Agnes Water.

Initial reports from the scene indicate the 53-year-old woman has suffered a possible fractured leg near the police station on Springs Road.

Emergency services have been alerted about her condition and are on the way to the scene.
