Woman escapes with a scratch after rollover on Cunningham Hwy

UPDATE, 11AM: A woman has walked away with only a few scratches after her vehicle rolled on the Cunningham Highway this morning.

The 51-year-old was treated for a cut to her elbow and transported to Ipswich Hospital after she was cut free from the car.

Emergency services initially dispatched a helicopter to airlift the patient from the scene, but it was soon cancelled.

The Cunningham Highway is now open after it was temporarily closed as the crash was cleared.
 

 

EARLIER: Emergency services are working to cut free a woman from a car wreckage on the Cunningham Highway at Harrisville.

A 51-year-old female is believed to be trapped in her car after it rolled and crossed lanes near Sealy's Rd just after 9am.

Four Queensland Ambulance units have arrived at the scene, and police and fire crews.

Minor delays are expected on the Cunningham Highway.
