Woman rushed to hospital after ocean swim

A MORNING swim in the ocean resulted in a 34-year old woman being rushed to the Gladstone Hospital on Thursday.

Emergency services were called to take the woman from a Tannum Sands medical practice at 9.50am.

The woman went for a swim at 8.30am, then sought medical advice after experiencing itchiness and discomfort in her left armpit.
