Woman reported missing in Gladstone found safe

A WOMAN reported missing in Gladstone on Monday was found safe just hours after police issued a call for public assistance.

Police issued the appeal for help to locate the 25-year-old woman at 9.42pm on Monday.

They said Katrina Demchenko had last been seen at an address on Fishermans Landing Rd at around noon on Monday.

Police held concerns for her welfare because she had not been in contact with family or friends since the morning.

Police issued a second notice at 11.34pm saying Ms Demchenko had been located safe.
