Woman allegedly lights man on fire in petrol attack

A YOUNG woman has been charged after she allegedly poured petrol on a man before lighting him on fire.

The 18-year-old man received serious burns to his head and face as a result of the incident in Cherbourg on Saturday night.

He was airlified to Toowoomba Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The 17-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder and is due to appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court today.
