Woman four times over limit among drink drivers fined

THREE drink drivers have gone before Gladstone Magistrates Court in recent days and fined nearly $3000 after pleading guilty to the offences.

Angie-Lee Simpson, 39, was fined $1000 and disqualified from driving for nine months after being arrested driving on Toolooa Street with a blood alcohol reading of 0.183.

The most serious offence was committed by Chelsea Werahiko, 33, who was caught in Auckland Street driving over four times the legal limit with a reading of 0.219.

She was fined $1200 and disqualified from driving for 14 months.

Ashley Neil Hawke, 26, was fined $600 and disqualified for three months after his arrest in Tank Street driving with an alcohol reading of 0.099.
