Crosby steals the win

THE LUSH greens of the Gladstone Golf Club course resulted in some good quality matches in which Gary Crosby took the honours.

He carded a 31 which was a stroke in front of three players who all had the same score in the A grade round.

Wayne Bowers was too good in the B grade with a 29 ahead of Trevor Rowlands (30) and three on 32.

Meanwhile the Gladstone Golf Club secretary Roy Jones said the rescheduled Three-Way Challenge will now be played this Monday from 9am.

"All those taking part are requested to be at the club house before 8.30am," Jones said.

"There's a good number registered to play and it promises to be a good day with a light lunch following the game.

"There will be about 75 to 80 players and let's hope the weather stays fine for it."
