Will Smith slams divorce rumours and 'dumb people'

GOSSIP websites have been aflutter this morning that Will Smith and wife of 17 years Jada Pinkett Smith have called it quits on their marriage.

Smith has now taken to Facebook to smack down the rumours, even using the caps lock button and a whole swag of exclamation points.

He wrote: 

Under normal circumstances, I don't usually respond to foolishness. (Because it's contagious)

But, so many people have extended me their "deepest condolences" that I figured - "What the hell... I can be foolish, too!"

So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness... Jada and I are...

NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!! : -)

I promise you all - if I ever decide to divorce my Queen - I SWEAR I'll tell you myself!

Tabloid portal RadarOnline reported the news "exclusively" overnight, with an unnamed source saying their marriage had been "on life support for a long time".

Apparently a second source said the pair were now "already moving on with their lives. All that's left is the inking of the divorce papers".

Radar also reported the pair had devised a settlement that would ensure their shared $240 million fortune was protected.
