Wild Bush distillery comes up with vodka for gay marriage

A GOLD Coast based distillery has partnered with Australian Marriage Equality to produce Unite Vodka, Australia's first vodka supporting the push for marriage equality.

Unite Vodka is a drink for equality with 100 per cent of the net profits going towards Australian Marriage Equality's campaign.

Caleb Forbes, Chief Distiller at Wild Bush, said he was proud to stand with Australian Marriage Equality and  promote the message for equality.

"Marriage Equality is no longer an issue for a minority of society, Wild Bush wants to do all we can to help vault over those last hurdles towards equality," Mr Forbes said.

"It's estimated 72 per cent of Australians support marriage equality. That's why Unite Vodka, a quadruple distilled vodka, is charcoal filtered 72 times to provide a high quality product for all vodka fans."

Ivan Hinton-Teoh, Deputy National Director for Australian Marriage Equality, said Unite Vodka was another way Australian businesses were getting on board the marriage equality campaign.

"It's a great opportunity to not only support the #SayYesToLove campaign but also enjoy  a high quality, Australian made vodka - produced especially for the occasion," Mr  Hinton-Teoh said.

"Of course we encourage all to drink responsibly, we also encourage everyone to support the campaign for equality."

Unite Vodka can be purchased online for $49 per 750mL bottle with free delivery if you purchase three bottles or more.
