Wiggins ready for coal arrival

WIGGINS Island Coal Export Terminal is expecting its first load of coal on Friday.

The $2.6 billion stage one WICET project has been under construction for almost two years.

Its physical capacity of 27 million tonnes of coal per annum is expected to be reached within its first year of operation.
