Why did the grumpy snake cross the road?

A TOOWOOMBA man has patiently moved on a cranky snake from the middle of the road.

The man captured the incident, believed to be near Toowoomba, on video and posted it on social media.

He's seen approaching the snake which is lying in the middle of the road.

The man asks the snake "how are you doing big fella?" before the carpet python turns and strikes.

 

 

"Get out of it grumpy sod, get off the road," he tells the snake.

"I don't want to be bitten by you, go on, that's it, get off the road."

The snake then proceeds to slither of the road before turning to strike again and then finally disappears into bushes.

Dave Wiedman from Toowoomba Snake Catchers 24/7 said residents who came across snakes on roadways should call a licensed catcher.
