WHERE TO VOTE: Pre-polling opens on the Coast

The race to take Queensland on October 31 is on in earnest, with pre-polling opening today.

Both major parties officially launched their campaigns on Sunday, just hours before early voters will cast the first ballots of what will be another unusual, pandemic-affected poll.

Booths will open several timeslots, including 9am-9pm, 9am-6pm and 9am-5pm, so it's worth checking ahead, and remember, pre-polling will be open on Saturday, October 24 as well.

If you're keen to avoid the rush and crowds of election day then check out the list of pre-polling booth locations on the Sunshine Coast, and if you're after a full list of candidates chasing your vote, click here.
