National dancers in town
The Sydney Dance Company is in Gladstone offering workshops and performing. Tonight they will perform their latest production, Countermove, at the Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre. It has already received great reviews, and now it's time for Gladstone residents to enjoy it. Tickets here
Emergency department update
Find out what the Gladstone Hospital has planned for its $42m emergency department upgrade at a community information session on Thursday. Two 30 minute sessions will be held with the head of the department and doctors, at the Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre at 3pm and 6pm.
Is there anything better than a warming, indulgent curry on a cold winter night? There will be a curry night at the Calliope State School this Friday. It is $15 per person and $25 per couple, and funds raised will go to the school's Brekky Club. For information or to RSVP phone 4972 4754.
Day out with the ponies
Is your child a pony lover? Pony Express Calliope is offering school holiday activities. On July 9 and 10 theree will be pony rides, craft, goat feeding and pony dress ups. Cost is $50 per child. For bookings phoone 0417 875 754.
