Weekend misdemeanours

A number of drink driving incidents occurred overnight and this morning, April 16, in the Gladstone region.

A 42-year-old female was intercepted on Silverton Dr in Tannum Sands with a BAC of .065 just after midnight.

At 12:55am a 19-year-old female driver was caught with a BAC of .073 on the Dawson Highway near Banana.

On Beak St New Auckland, a 23-year-old man recorded a BAC of .076 at 1:55am this morning.

At 7:36am today a 49-year-old male blew .066 at the Turkey Beach turnoff on the Bruce Highway.

All drivers will face court.

A suburban disturbance occurred this morning at 1:10am at a residence in Beak St, New Auckland.

A lady approached someone she believed was attempting to break into her home sending the unknown party running into the bushes.
