Weekend crime report: Dishwasher, purse and more stolen

GLADSTONE residents have been warned to lock up their homes and cars, after brazen thieves kept the police busy over the weekend.

There was almost ten different cases of burglary, break ins and enter with intent over the two days.

Burglary - Connolly Court, Telina

While a resident was watering his garden, the offender/s entered his home on Connolly Crt to steal a wallet with $50in  it and personal cards and a wooden coin tray.
 

Burglary with Breaking - Waterson Drive, Sun Valley

Offender/s entered a white Hyundai Hatchback which was left unlocked in a garage, to steal one coin purse, a medical certificate and keys. The car has the registration 826RKA. 

Burglary with Breaking - Bufflehead Road, Kirkwood

A home in Bufflehead Rd was broken into at the weekend, and offender/s removed and stole an Omega ODW702 dishwasher. There was no damage caused.

Burglary with Breaking - Wood Street, Barney Point

A hole, large enough for an adult to crawl through, was cut through the exterior of a Barney Point home when it was broken in to at the weekend. The offender/s entered the home and then spent time in the dwelling jimmying a window lock and attempting to gain access to the manhole before leaving. Property does not appear to have been stolen but evidence of controlled drug use was left behind.

Burglary with Breaking - Leonard Street, South Gladstone

The offence location is a residence. The victims were not at home at the time of the offence. Unknown offender/s have gained entry into the residence by an unknown access point. Once inside the residence the offender/s have entered bedrooms and stolen property. An XBox 360 console and a black controlller, two video games, one USB and HDMI cable and a white Applie iPad were stolen.
 

Enter with Intent - Breslin Street, West Gladstone
The offence location is a public school. Offender/s have attempted to gain entry into F Block using a branch without success. The offender/s have then left the scene. Minimal damage has been caused during the offence, but nothing appears to have been stolen.

Enter with Intent - Bell Street, Barney Point

The offence location is a vacant property for sale. Unknown offender/s have gained entry into the residence by jemmying the laundry door. Once inside the offender/s have removed the washing machine from the connection taps and the box air conditioner.

Enter with Intent - Robert Street, South Gladstone
The offence location is a unit block. The victim was not home at the time of the offence. Unknown offender/s have entered the residence by unknown means. Once inside the offender/s have entered the living room and stolen property. The offenders have left through the rear door which was left open. No damage has occurred during the offence.
Property items stolen: $30 in Cash, photographic SD memory card, Samsung video camera, small ornament and a debit card. Total value $75.00
