Weekend accidents keep rescue team busy

RACQ Capricorn Rescue carried out rescues at Mt Larcom and Kroombit National Park on Sunday.

A 43-year-old woman from Yeppoon suffered a suspected fractured right arm after falling from a horse.

The rescue chopper landed at a Mt Larcom property at 10.14am.

The on-board medical team stabilised the patient before airlifting her to Rockhampton for further treatment.

The team was then sent to a motorbike accident at Kroombit National Park.

A 29-year-old man from Boyne Island had been riding his off-road motorbike when he and a four-wheel-drive collided.

The man suffered a suspected fractured leg and was transferred to Rockhampton.
