Wed on a perfect day

ZAC Smith and Lynda Wilton's Gladstone wedding was a perfect day for the couple, who enjoyed catching up with friends and family.

They married on May 23 at St Saviour's Anglican Church and had a reception at the Grand Hotel.

More than 100 friends and family attended.

"The Anglican Church is a beautiful church and we had attended other wedding receptions at the Grand and were really happy with the service, food and how lovely it looked done up," she said.

"I loved the whole day," Lynda said.

While it was hard to choose her favourite part, she said walking into the church and seeing her husband to be was the most memorable.

"We loved getting our photos taken too, our photographer was so great to work with and we loved mingling with family and friends at the reception."

Lynda's dress, a strapless sweetheart neckline design, was from Gladstone Bridal.

"I absolutely love it and am a little sad I'll never wear it again," she said.

The couple's bridal party had six people, a mixture of family and friends.

The couple met in 2012, and during their Christmas holidays in 2013, Zac proposed.

To celebrate their marriage the pair went to the Sunshine Coast for their honeymoon and will also go to New Zealand later in the year.
