Website shows off central Queensland's perks

A NEW website promoting the benefits of living in central Queensland has gone live.

The site was created by the Central Queensland Regional Organisation of Councils and focuses on the opportunities available to people who live, work visit or invest in the region.

Visit the site for yourself at http://www.cqroc.org.au, which carries the slogan Love CQ - The heart and Soul of Queensland.

The website's launch coincided with the first day of the two-day regional expo in Brisbane.

Banana Shire mayor Ron Carige said the stand had been popular and people were interested in finding out what central Queensland had to offer.
