TIMELAPSE: Rain to hit Gladstone for next 4 days
IT MIGHT be an idea to get those umbrellas out again.
The Bureau of Meteorology said a strong south-easterly flow off the sea is pushing rain towards Gladstone.
While Bureau meteorologist Kev Hutchins said "it's mainly showers at this point", rain could be heading to Gladstone over the next four days.
Mr Hutchins said the moist cloud span much of the east coast "in that south-easterly air stream".
He said while The Bureau's radars suggest areas to Gladstone's north, including Great Keppel Island and Yeppoon, will cop it a little heavier, it could change.
"It depends where you are. Sometimes they [the clouds] come into the coast in a great big train one after the other," he said.
