WATCH: Experience and big moment goals clinches BITS flag

AUSSIE RULES: Darren 'Dash' Boase produced the perfect 'finale' game - and with broken ribs he carried for weeks - to help his BITS Saints win its second successive AFL Capricornia grand final against Yeppoon Swans.

Boase, the competition's most decorated player, booted two final-quarter goals in a master-class four-goal performance in what (most likely) will be his final game along with brother Daniel Boase (two goals).

The brothers helped BITS get over the line 9.9 (63) to 8.5 (53) in a tough and brutal final where no teams gave an inch.

Despite the use of the breeze in the final quarter, the Saints were the more disciplined and experience and the move of Damon Stebbings as loose man in defence proved a master-stroke by coach Lucas Hall.

"I'm pretty stoked hey, pretty stoked," 'Dash' said just moments after the final siren.

"I was pretty buggered and did not have much left in the tank to be honest with you, but got the job done and the boys did well and pretty proud of them hey."

Just three points separated the teams at three-quarter-time, but a free kick against Wes Hawke, who had played a super game, eventually led to a Darren Boase goal and from there, BITS were never headed.

An emotional Hall was almost speechless after the game.

"I'm just so stoked and Yeppoon are a good side and we knew that we had to show up and just had to go for four quarters," he said.
