Wallet and tools stolen from unlocked vehicles

A VEHICLE on Liriope Dr in Kirkwood was broken into overnight on Sunday after the thieves gained entry through a closed but unlocked door.

Tools were stolen from inside the vehicle.

And a wallet and its contents were stolen from a vehicle on Emmadale Dr in New Auckland overnight on Sunday. The perpetrators gained entry via a closed but unlocked door.

The incidents come as Gladstone police urge residents to lock their homes and vehicles to avoid becoming an easy target for opportunistic thieves.
