THE Observer together with the GAPDL and The Rock Building Society invites you to vote for a local business that offers exceptional service and helps promote the Gladstone region to local and international tourists.

Amcal Gladstone Family Chemist has been nominated by a member of the public for their friendly service and how they are always willing to help.

General manager Lisa Hughes said it was a lovely surprise and it was nice to be appreciated.

“The bad comments always stick in your mind and you tend to forget the good ones. So it has been appreciated,” she said.

The award is just one of the award categories in the 2010 The Rock Building Society’s Tourism Business Awards.
