Vote for your local business

THE Observer together with the GAPDL and The Rock Building Society invites you to vote for a local business that offers exceptional service and helps promote the Gladstone region to local and international tourists.

The Observer sponsored “Best in Service” category is something that every business strives to achieve and the Observer wants you to make your vote.

Amcal Gladstone Family Chemist has been nominated by a member of the public for their friendly service and how they are always willing to help.

General manager Lisa Hughes said it was a lovely surprise and it was nice to be appreciated.

“The bad comments always stick in your mind and you tend to forget the good ones. So it has been appreciated,” she said.

The award is just one of the award categories in the 2010 The Rock Building Society’s Tourism Business Awards.

Nominees of the Observer’s “Best in Service” award go in the draw to win two tickets to the Rock Building Society’s Tourism Business Awards.

Nominations close on August 13.
