Volunteers needed to save animals

FRIENDS of RSPCA Gladstone is looking for volunteers  to assist with helping care for neglected and abandoned animals of the region.

President Judy Whicker said if you have some spare time whether it be one hour or 20 hours a week then we want to hear from you.

"We are looking for regular kennel helpers, dog walkers and van drivers (manual license required)," Ms Whicker said.

"Last year our Group helped saved over 500 dogs and cats which had been impounded or privately surrended.  These animals would have otherwise been euthanized."

To join the group of volunteers who share in the common interest of their love of animals, contact Judy Whicker on 0417 065 394 for further information.
