Sizzling sausages net kindergarten $2000

FROM garden parties to sausage sizzles, the team at the Tannum Sands Kindergarten is constantly fundraising for a better facility for their children.

The non-profit kindergarten of more than 30 years sold sausage sizzles at Bunnings Warehouse this week and raised $2000.

Fundraising co-ordinator Nell Cheetham said 44 children attended the facility and it was run by parents and community volunteers.

"We have four teaching staff and one admin and book keeper," she said.

"The money raised goes towards all the extras like gardening and upgrading equipment."

Tannum Meats gave the group free sausages and Be Cool supplied a cold room for them.
