LOGAN heavyweight Alex Leapai will launch his ring comeback against 33-year-old American Malik Scott described by his trainer and manager Noel Thornberry as a Dennis Rodman lookalike and just as crazy.

Scott has lost just two of his 39 professional fights.

Leapi has not fought since having his world heavyweight title dream pulverised by Ukrainian giant Wladimir Klitschko in Germany last April.

Thornberry confirmed Goosen Promotions in America had signed a deal for Scott to tangle with Leapai at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre of October 24.
