THE VERDICT: Gladstone residents try vegemite chocolate

WATCH: Residents try taste of Vegemite chocolate

VEGEMITE chocolate is the latest flavour from Cadbury and it's the taste topic that is on everyone's lips.

The Observer hit the street to find out what residents thought of the new chocolate bar, and there was a mixed reaction.

Some say it tastes like salted caramel, others just couldn't stomach it.

"It's not right, but it's good," Shannon Bakes said.

The limited edition chocolate was released to stores early last month.

The Observer asked its social media users what they thought of the new flavour too.

Have you tried Cadbury's Vegemite chocolate? What did you think? If you haven't tasted it, would you give it a go?
