Man rolls car off roundabout
A VEHICLE rolled off the road near the Rio Tinto roundabout on Saturday morning.
The male driver was inbound when he failed to negotiate the roundabout at about 8.50am
Police and Queensland Ambulance Service attended the accident but the driver sustained no serious injuries.
He was issued with a notice to appear in court for failing to maintain control of a vehicle.
A second accident occurred at 8pm on Saturday.
Two vehicles were involved in the bingle at the corner of Phillip Street and Sun Valley road. Police are investigating.
No-one was injured and the vehicles had only minor damage.
In other news a Ford Falcon utility was seized by police on Saturday afternoon at Archer Street in Calliope.
Police spokesperson said the vehicle was seized as the 17-year-old male driver was a repeat offender for unlicensed driving.
