NETBALL: While it has been four days since the Gladstone Netball Association grand finals, there will be a group of younger players better for the experience.

They watched Stacey Ereuti dominate the Senior 3 grand final and she led Valleys Rockets to a 43-28 win against Little Birdies.

Ereuti was simply too tall for her younger opponent and she said she enjoyed her first year at the club.

"Throughout the regular season we lost just the one game and this was the first time that we actually played with the seven players,” she said.

Ereuti and her partner moved to Gladstone from Western Australia two years ago and she added that there are no regrets.

"I have been playing netball since I was about four, five or six, but I wouldn't say I was the more experienced players,” she said.

"I just play to have fun and do my best really and try as hard as I can.”

She said height is obviously a great advantage, but lauded her team-mates in feeding her the ball.

"I try my best in being one of the tallest out there and try to all the goals and make them count,” Ereuti said.

Valley Gems beat Valley Opals 26-24 in the Cadet 1 final while Yaralla Peewees were 20-16 victors in the Cadet 2 decider.

The Junior 1 winners were Valleys Gold against Yaralla Finches.

Yaralla Herons, Yaralla Sandpipers and Yaralla Owls won their respective Junior 2, 3 and 4 grades against Valley Turqoise, Valleys Silver and Yaralla Quails.
