Unexpected flaring at QCLNG after shutdown

SMOKE will be seen coming from QCLNG's flare today after an unscheduled shut-down of train two.

The company put out a press release at just after 4pm on Wednesday saying the supply of natural gas to Train 2 had been stopped.

The flare is being used to evacuate gases from the plants processing systems.

The flare itself will be larger and emitting more smoke.
