Un-cramp your golf swing for clean contact
DON'T get too cramped on the backswing and downswing! During both the backswing and the downswing try to avoid collapsing your arms because this can cause us to lose lots of distance and also lose the ability to have a good clean contact each time.
In Photo one I am showing you how not to collapse your arms and see how my hands are too close to my right shoulder and I will find it too hard to swing back down to the ball and get a good clean contact with the ball on impact.
Photo two (left) shows you I have collapsed during my downswing and you can see how I look very cramped and note how my right elbow and hip are touching and I also am leaning back in the middle of the downswing, this can cause deep divots and side spin on the ball.
Photo three (below) shows the correct position at the top of the backswing and if you can maintain that position on the downswing you will be able to return the club back to the ball more consistently each time.
The new Titleist 913 Drivers were released last week and the feedback data from our flightscope machine gives us some interesting figures and info that really makes it important to get properly fitted for the correct shaft and head options.
Pictured is the two different heads and just some of the shafts that we can fit you up with.
Some special features with these new heads is that the mishits off the top of the club still create less spin then ever before and with the improved shafts they really do make a difference.
This Sunday is our once-a-year pre-Christmas golf sale so don't miss out on grabbing some great specials that will only be on offer on the day.
