Two wet-weather crashes reported in Gladstone

A TWO-VEHICLE accident took place at about 2pm on Wednesday at the intersection of Central Lane and Yarroon St, Gladstone.

A Holden Monaro and a Mitsubishi Lancer were involved in the minor crash, with one driver issued a traffic infringement notice for failing to give way.

And a Holden Commodore sedan ended up in the stormwater drain opposite KFC on Dawson Hwy on Wednesday afternoon.

The driver of the vehicle returned a negative BAC reading at the scene of the incident at about 5.35pm, which did not result in damage to the car or any injuries.
