Three car fires on Sunday: police investigate two

GLADSTONE police are seeking information from the public after two abandoned vehicles were set on fire early Sunday morning.

A vehicle near the intersection of Glenlyon and Kirkwood Rds was set alight about 2.45am.

A Mitsibushi wagon on Glen Eden Dr was set alight about 3am.

Meanwhile, Queensland Fire and Rescue officers in Gladstone were called to a car fire on Sunday on the corner of Glenlyon Rd and Breslin St, about 5.30pm.

The female driver of a Jeep Cherokee pulled over with engine trouble before the car caught fire. No-one was hurt.
