Two men charged after police allegedly find tablets in car

TWO men have been charged with numerous drug charges overnight at Mount Larcom.

Police intercepted a vehicle on the Bruce Hwy near Mount Larcom at 8.15pm.

Police searched the vehicle and allegedly located a large quantity of tablets in a plastic bag in the vehicle.

The tablets are being subjected to scientific testing.

A 27-year-old Ravenshoe man has been charged with one count each of possession of a dangerous drug, supply dangerous drug and possession of property.

A 35-year-old Brinsmead man has been charged with one count each of possession of a dangerous drug and supply dangerous drugs.

Both men are due to appear in Gladstone Magistrates Court on November 20.
