Meth, cannabis, drink driving charges: Gladstone police busy

THE Gladstone Police has made several charges in two days for drug and alcohol related matters.

  • On January 20, police executed a search warrant at a West Gladstone address.

They located a quantity of cannabis, cannabis seeds, and drug utensils at the address.

Three men were charged, and two will appear in Gladstone Magistrates Court on February 16 in relation to this matter.

  • On January 21 a man from South Gladstone was charged with drink driving.

The police allege he returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.203 on Glenlyon Rd, south Gladstone.

He will appear at Gladstone Magistrates Court on February 9 in relation to this matter.

  • On January 21 a Boyne Island man was charged with possessing a dangerous drug.

It is alleged that police located him in possession of a clip seal bag containing approximately 0.5 grams of methyl-amphetamine.

He will appear at Gladstone Magistrates Court on February 9 in relation to this matter.
