Two banned from clubs after 20-man brawl on dance floor

A 20-MAN brawl on the Bojangles dance floor has left two Gladstone men banned from establishments in the CBD.

Smith Samau, 27, and Teariki Taware Ware Peneha, 25, pleaded guilty to drunk and disorderly behaviour in Gladstone Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

The two men were involved in a 20-man fight in the early hours of June 23.

Magistrate Russell Warfield said it had been another case of excess alcohol and the community was sick of it.

Both defendants were fined $400 with no conviction recorded.
