Clayton, 27, crashed his vehicle into a parked car, letterbox and through a fence on Sun Valley Rd at 11.30pm on February 8, while drunk.

MORE GLADSTONE COURT STORIES:
It cost Clayton his $25,000 car, $3200 for the parked car and $1900 for the fence.
Magistrate Penelope Hay said: "You have purchased a new vehicle for the owner of the vehicle you hit without hesitation.
"The people affected have been genuinely satisfied by your actions that they have written to the court."
