Truck accident closes road

A TRUCK that swerved to miss a cow ran off the road and had to be towed out yesterday.

The empty fuel tanker b-double ran off the road at 1.38am yesterday and was on the side of Port Curtis Way until a tow truck was able to pull it out about 9am.

The road was closed between 9am and 9.30am to pull the truck out. No one was injured in the accident.
