Tributes flow for TV personality Reg Grundy

AUSTRALIAN media mogul Reg Grundy has died with his wife by his side at home in Bermuda, aged 92.

The television producer helped create Neighbours, Prisoner and Wheel of Fortune and was inducted into the Logies Hall of Fame in 1993.

Former Wheel of Fortune host John Burgess told the ABC Mr Grundy was "an all-round good bloke" with a keen eye for entertainment.

"He had the happy knack of being able to pick things out of a huge array of shows ... that were doing okay, and turn them into super hits," he said.
